No entitlement politics please
Did you see House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent solo hair salon visit in San Francisco, at a time when California businesses are limited due to COVID-19 concerns?
I am against the entitlement and privilege that Speaker Pelosi and other establishment politicians blatantly showcase. My middle class upbringing is against any and all forms of entitlement, as that is what I have rebelled against my entire life.
And one of Pelosi’s staunchest allies in the House is our very own Congresswoman Anna Eshoo. Do you prefer for your elected leaders to operate independently or someone who relies on Speaker Pelosi for cues to decide upon their next actions?
We need fearless leaders in elected office! As a hi-tech executive and a city councilmember, I bring a fearless brand of people-centric politics? In 35 days the ballots will be out — and we are pushing forward to win this race. Please support us by making a campaign contribution today and together let us make change happen in our district.
Rep. Eshoo has been a bit disconnected after 28 years in office
- She claimed in an op-ed piece to have worked 15 years for pandemic preparedness. Really?
- As the co-chair of the BioDefense Caucus, one of the objectives being pandemic preparedness, she held zero meetings.
- Facebook is in our congressional district, but Rep. Eshoo was completely out of touch with the privacy challenges.
- Rep. Eshoo has been completely out of touch with Big Tech, let alone reining them in.
The world has gone by since 1988 when Anna first ran for Congress. She has been absent on critical issues in our district, while passing laws that have made our prescriptions more expensive and simultaneously taking millions of dollars in contributions from Big Pharma.
I’m running in this race because I believe our elected leaders should listen to their constituents. I believe bipartisanship is important, and if elected, I’m willing to work with Republicans and Democrats to solve the issues our district — and our nation — faces. I believe we need not move LEFT or RIGHT, but FORWARD.
With your support on November 3rd, I promise to address your top challenges.
Why is change imminent? “It took a pandemic and social unrest to get everyone to understand how important it is to have great elected officials at every level of government. Next time you are asked to vote, take it seriously. These roles are not just about politics — they can be a matter of life or death”
- Jon Sakoda’s tweet from June 5th
